I used to have two brothers: Eric and Scott. Protectors, they were. Eric is five years older than me and Scott, two years older. Both were popular, good-looking and got the lion's share of talent, athletic and other-wise. I just got to be born, basically, and was destined to be known as "Eric's Sister" or "Scott's Sister," a label I scoffed at publicly, but cherished privately. My brothers were my identity, for good or for worse.
I want to encourage you to write and write and write! I can indeed testify that all you have said about Scott is true! He had a smile that was amazing! I remember when I learned of Scott passing, I thought “No way! Not him, not now!”
I appreciate you stepping out to fight and sleigh the enemy of fear. Fear and intimidation is a killer of hopes, dreams and callings.I encourage you to be strong and courageous, your gifting is in your hand… hand to pen or keyboard… the stirring in your heart is there for a God given reason. A passion, a passion that will propel you to take you to a level that you have not known or experienced, but as you go I sense that you will have full heart, because you are doing what you are supposed to do!
Wow. Thank you. I'm humbled by your comments. And I will keep going. Scott's story inspired me to write the book I'm writing. God bless you for blessing me!
Please keep me abreast on your progress. I am excited for you. The hardest book is the first book. Find your “happy place” and be consistent with your writing. You will find that there are times when you are really in the mood to write. Double down in those times, like a rolling stream keep the momentum. Blessings to you!
Very well written. Thank you for sharing about Scott. Keep on writing. It is very healing for you and will be for so many others who will be able to relate.

Thank you so much for this! It's all I know how to do. LOL. Keep reading and giving me feedback, please!
I’m so very sorry for your loss! I can see how writing and getting your thoughts on paper might be therapeutic.
Thank you. It was 15 years ago but feels like yesterday. Writing is the best way for me to work through things!
Your care and admiration was evident in this story about your brother.
Thank you. I loved him but couldn't save him.
Same with my dad.
I totally get it.
