I claim that I am passionate about writing. I talk about it, I tell others I'm a writer, that I'm a published author. But when it comes down to writing? I rarely do it.
I'm a firm believer in the scripture that says, "Where your treasure is, so will your heart also be." In other words, whatever you spend your money (or, in this case, time) on is what you truly care about.
Now I'm the first to criticize and judge others for saying one thing while doing another. One of my favorites is, "I have no money," yet the very same people are always spending money. And they wonder why they have no money?
Another great one is, "I need to lose weight," yet they are the first people eating fast food and getting no exercise. Really?
The list is a long one so I will not bore my readers by going on and on.
Anyway, back to me. I love writing. I am passionate about it. I'm a published author. And this time, doggone it, I intend to do something about it.
I am going to write every day, even if it is just one damn sentence. Starting today.
